Digital Certificates
to NR Vendors
Northern
Railway Vendors e-Procurement - Northern Railway
Northern Railway's EPS Software Provider has
tied-up with SafeScrypt Limited to provide
Digital Certificate to the Vendors of Northern
Railways.
To facilitate e-Procurement, Northern Railway
is enabling Digital Certificate based access
for its Vendors. The Vendors using the Digital
Certificate issued by SafeScrypt will access
the e-Procurement Portal to participate in
e-procurement.
The participation in e-Procurement through
Northern Railway's website, will be limited
to Vendors who have acquired a Digital Signature
Certificate as per the Indian IT Act 2000.
To interact with the e-Procurement portal
of Northern Railway, Vendors will require
possessing a legally valid Digital Certificate
from SafeScrypt.
The type of Certificate from SafeScrypt approved
by Northern Railway for its e-procurement
process is a RCAI Class 3 for Individuals
with Organisation Name.
